Tom Tessin asked:

Who doesn’t want to shop and earn money? There are lots of ways to earn dollars by shopping at some of your favorite stores. Either online or the use of a credit card, more and more companies are offering incentives to shop with them. Let’s check out a few of those ways below:

Cash Back Web Shopping

With sites such as Ebates, the web is making it more and more convenient to shop online from home and earn dollars doing so. It’s very simple, sign up at the site at no charge to you. The site list hundreds of web stores you can visit and tells you what percentage of cash back you’ll get off of your purchase price, so, you can search for the best discount. Ebates keeps track by assigning an electronic ticket when you click on the site you want to visit. You don’t have to type in anything, you just click on the site you want to shop at and Ebates does the rest. Periodically you’ll receive a check in the mail, and yes, it’s an actual check you can cash at your bank! We all do online holiday shopping…imagine the money back you’ll get after Christmas.

Coupon Clipping

It may not seem like a lot .10 cents here, .25 cents there, but all those cents add up to dollars eventually. Clip your Sunday paper, visit online coupon sites, or type into your search engine: “name of your favorite store” coupons and you’ll be surprised the coupon listing your find. Free shipping, discounts, and cash back on purchases.

Favorite Stores Offer Cash back on Credit Cards

Lots of your favorite stores are adding a cash back reward for using credit cards associated with their products. Many companies offer cash rewards for every dollar you spend on purchases made. Airlines offer miles, clothing stores offer money back, coffee shops offer free coffee, all this adds up to cash back in your wallet.

Tom Tessin asked:

Today there are so many different credit cards on the market. If you’re searching, you can find a card that suits your business needs, is for traveling, for gasoline purchases, for college students, people with bad credit, and the list goes one.

Although there are a lot of great credit cards on the market, I do have one favorite. I personally like credit cards that give me cash back. These are great because every time you shop, you are guaranteed to spend less than you would with cash or any other card. These credit cards are usually considered cash back cards or cash rebate cards.

If you’ve heard about these and are interested in getting one, but you’re not quite sure what they are all about and what they offer, continue reading below so we can explain!

What is a Cash Rebate Credit Card?

There are a lot of credit cards on the market. You will find that some give you one point per dollar spent, and that some don’t reward you at all. Unlike both of these, cash back cards or cash rebate cards are different. When you sign up for a card, you will be told what cash back percentage you will be rewarded. Most cards are 1% but some can go up to 20% on certain purchases! What this means is that whenever you make a purchase, you will get 1% cash back on each purchase you make. Although, what’s even better is that certain cards offer even more. You may get 1% cash back on every purchase, 5% cash back on gas purchases and 10% for shopping online.

All of these cards are great, but they offer different rewards. So, when you’re looking, you will want to find one that will benefit you the most. If you spend a lot of money on gas, get one with a good bonus for gas stops, or if you shop online, find a card that rewards you for that!

So many people are against using credit cards for several different reasons. They say they only get people into debt, hurt their credit and are dangerous to use. Although, if you pay your balances off in full and use your card like a debit card how can they possibly hurt you? Be wise with your purchases, pay on time, in full and receive nothing but benefits like the benefits of a cash back card!
